A personal approach to yacht brokerage

The right boat.
The right next step.

Whether you’re ready for a different kind of cruising or preparing to pass your boat to its next owner, start with a conversation.

For those who already know Josh and trust his judgment, and for the friends they send his way, Mercer Island Yacht Sales offers a personal point of contact. Tell him what matters to you, and shape the search or sale around your plans.

01 / Buying

Find a yacht
that fits your life.

Weekend escapes, longer passages, or more time with family. Start with how you want to use your boat, then narrow the search to the details that matter.

  • Your plans, priorities, and budget
  • A focused search and thoughtful comparisons
  • Support from the first conversation through closing
Discuss your search
02 / Selling

Make room for
what comes next.

A good sale starts with a clear plan. Let’s talk through your boat, your timing, and how to present it to prospective buyers.

  • A conversation about value and positioning
  • Preparation, presentation, and buyer enquiries
  • Guidance through offers and the closing process

The person behind the process

Good conversations.
Clear decisions.

Work directly with Josh Moultray.

Josh grew up on Mercer Island, boating with his family in the Salish Sea and San Juan Islands. Time aboard his grandparents’ Tollycrafts became a lifelong interest in boats, cruising, and the systems that make them work.

He formerly worked at Crow’s Nest Yachts alongside industry veterans including Dan Wood and Vic Parcells. That experience, together with his own time as a boat owner, informs a practical approach to buying and selling.

Josh is also a lawyer at Moultray Law. His work in law brings a careful eye to the details, thoughtful questions, and a practical approach to negotiations.

For people who know his experience and value his advice, yacht brokerage is another way to work with Josh directly. Bring your questions, your wish list, or simply an idea of what comes next.
